Water Polo - Boys Var Boys Varsity Water Polo qualifies for CCS with big win over Sequoia!!
By defeating Sequoia in the PAL playoffs, the boys Varsity water polo team earned a trip to the CCS tournament. They will play Live Oak High School at 7pm on Tuesday night in Morgan Hill.
The Panthers were ready to play against Sequoia as they jumped out to a 5-3 lead in the 1st period.The Panthers extended the lead by a goal in each of the last three periods and won by a score of 15-10. In a show of strength, all the scoring was done by senior players. Casey Sullivan led the scoring with 5 goals, Nick Crossfield had 4, Jeff Johnson had 3, Markus Gutierrez had 2 and Jared Fox had one. Sophomore goalkeeper Noah Tandowsky had a season high 14 saves.
